Really nice demo that reminds me a lot of classic RPG maker games with nice characters (I can't really tell you how much I like the designs) and amazing art, this demo has lore development, puzzles and scary stuff, really a little of everything.
My only suggestions, like other comment mention would be to tone down a little on the CRT effect because it gets heavy on the eyes after a while, specially since it is in a transitory area.
And also mind the placement of the save points in a game where you are going to die repeatedly that's really important to not frustrate the players.
Pretty spooky game! Love the art for the characters. The areas in the demo were pretty unsettling and set up a good mystery for the full game.
One piece of feedback I have is during the segment where you’re grabbing the axe. It’s a bit tedious to have to input the password over and over again after each death. I wish I could have gone back to save after inputting the password, since I died a ton before figuring out how to get out of the room. (It doesn't seem like you're able to leave the room until you grab the axe.)
Another personal nitpick is the use of the CRT/static effect. I think it’s cool to have but, I kinda wish it was used a bit more sparingly. It’s not in every area of the game but it feels a bit overused. It kinda made my head hurt after awhile and I didn’t really see the point of it? Again, this is completely a personal nitpick. If there’s some deeper reason for it in the full game, then this is probably a moot point.
